Project 365: Day # 22 - Monday, September 26, 2011
Today, September 26, 2011 marks yet another great accomplishment with soccer. I was able to beat my record of how long I can juggle a soccer ball. My previous time was one minute and 34 seconds. But today, I was able to increase my time to two minutes and five seconds.Even though it wasn't as much as I expected it to be, I think that it was pretty good a start. I blocked out the thought of this being a daunting task and replacing that thought with "if it can be done by anyone, then I can do it." I keep this thought in mind and I apply it to more than just sports but to my academics as well. I was extremely doubtful that I wouldn't be able to juggle the ball just as good as professionals, but I've seemed to have made a breakthrough. It takes a lot of focus and balance. Therefore I am going to continue practicing and hopefully I'll be doing it for a longer duration at a fast pace. I also relate this to school. I make sure that before I go on to the next subject, I look over it constantly and to keep practicing it until I've mastered it completely.
