Project 365: Day # 25 - Thursday, September 29, 2011 "I present to you the YTSO"

Just in case you don't know what YTSO stands for, it is the You Tube Symphony Orchestra. You're probably wondering "yYouTube has an orchestra?" but they do. The YTSO performs annually at a certain venue somewhere around the world and it happens live and can be viewed on You Tube. Their recent performance at the Opera house in Sydney, Australia was pure entertainment to music lovers all around the world. Billions of people tuned in for the live streaming on You Tube. I saw this as an international phenomenon. The orchestra consists of 101dexterous musicians from 33 different countries. These musicians who were in attendance were from few of the best symphonies in the world such as the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic and so many others. The director of the YTSO is Michael T. Thomas. He was the lead conductor in 2011 in Sydney as well as at Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2009. I made a goal based on their performance and that is to be one of the 100 musicians to be a part of the YTSO.
