Project 365: Day # 85 - Thursday, December 1, 2011 "The lighting of the Monument"

Tonight was the night of the monument lighting downtown. I went down with my sister and mother and we decided to take the subway from Owings Mills down to North Avenue where my aunt and baby cousin came and picked us up to head down to the lighting. Once we got there we were able to get as close as Cathedral St. when we walked to the monument I began to have a flashback to my audition for BSA when we walked pass the school, only because I was having a somber moment when I found out that i didn't get into the school. But that hasn't stopped me from doing what I'm doing today. When we arrived at the lighting, we got there in time to listen to the famous Morgan State Choir. The small park was seriously inundated with a superfluous amount of people and weren't able to get close to the stage but it turned out to be even better once the fireworks began to start.
