Project 365: Day # 92 - Thursday, December 8, 2011 "Preparations for Winter Concert 2011"
We are officially about a week away from the school's annual winter concert for the band, choir, string ensemble, and the jazz band. I am more than excited because I believe that we have an excellent performing arts program where the students truly represent themselves to the fullest with their dexterous and advanced musical talents. I am a part of the school band and I can say that we are ready for the concert next week. However, there are a couple things that we as a roup really need to take into consideration. Some of those things are somewhat minor where they can be easily fixed. Factors like these would pretain to the music that we are playing. It clearly shows if someone did not practice at home. And it's seems predictable because of the musical errors that occur. Whether if someone misses a note where he/she plays a sharp when it's supposed to be a flat or whatever the case may be, these are fixable mistakes. But what our main goal is to execute properly and effectively so that our upcoming concert will sure to be a success.
