Project 365: Day # 89 - Monday, December 5, 2011 "Operation Decortation"

It's now 20 days left until Christmas and I'm really excited about it. I feel like this has been the only time where the month of December is curtailing its duration with Christmas coming around the corner. It's like during the previous years, it felt like Christmas took a really long time coming even though it was about two and a half weeks befroe it arrives. But this time it's nearing pretty quickly and it's time to get ready. I went downstairs to the office where I found about two tubs filled with ornaments and Christmas lights. We had these lights for so long that I didn't think that they would still work. But they turned out that they all work. When I plugged them into an electrical outlet, the lights were showing their very flamboyant and ornate colors. They were very lively and colorful. We then grabbed the artificial tree so that we could start putting the lights on. It was a great family-bonding opportunity. I was very glad that I was able to really take part of this because at this point I would be in school at college. But because I realized that, it was truly worth spending time with my wonderful family decorating.
